Yoga pants for men may be a relatively new concept, but trust me, they’re the best thing you never knew you needed. You don’t realise how much your clothes get in the way until you wear something that’s designed to move with your body.
In the past, dedicated men’s yoga attire was always more akin to hemp flares than high-performance sportswear, but times are changing. Today, there are a lot more options, but finding a pair that provide enough flex, comfort and ahem.. support… is still a challenge.
By now you must be tired of reading top 10 lists of products nobody has really tried? I know I am. That’s why I’ve done the hard work for you and selected the best two pairs of men’s yoga pants that tick every box – and I know they’re good, because I own both of them. So whether you like a strong vinyasa or a slow Yin practice, these two versatile numbers have you covered.
They’re both from a brand called OHMME. I love them, they’re not a sports brand trying to cash-in on a new market, or a typical yoga brand “testing out” a menswear range – they’re a dedicated yoga menswear company. Their mission is to provide high-quality men’s apparel with movement in mind. If anyone knows how to create the perfect men’s yoga pants – its them.

The Best Yoga Pants for Men Reviewed
Namoustache 3/4 Pants

These are without a doubt, my favourite yoga pants in the world.
The Namoustache 3/4 yoga pants strike the perfect balance between performance, comfort and style. The polyester/elastane fabric is thin and light, but feels premium and substantial – no sheer tights here. Great for yoga class or on the street, these men’s yoga capris are the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe.
They’re fitted, but not tight. I have a 31-32 inch waist and I’m wearing a medium in the video. The waistband is comfortable but secure, so they stay put when you’re upside down. The legs also taper down towards the cuff, so you’ll have that trim silhouette, without “the bulge” and the “I’ve barely squeezed into these bad boys” look. At 5 8′, I’m not exactly tall, but the length of these is just fine for me. I’m sure the tapered ends would rest comfortably on the leg at any height.
The stretchy jersey fabric and gusset in the crotch work together to make movement a breeze. Great for all yoga types, if I could actually do the splits, these would have no problem keeping up. There’s even a handy little pouch on the back. They do have pockets though, so I’m not entirely sure what to put in the pouch, but it’s nice to have options.

Dharma Yoga Pants

The OHMME Dharma yoga pants are made from the same great material as the Namoustache, but the fit is completely different. I’d describe these like thin and light joggers. The extra fabric makes for a loose, but super comfortable fit. In fact, they’re probably the most comfortable men’s pants you’ll ever wear.
The elastic drawstring waist keeps them comfortably secure, even through a vigorous yoga practice. In the video I’m wearing a medium again (size guide: 78.5 – 83.5cm / 31″ – 33″), but I think I could get away with a small in these. I think the more wholesome fit makes these perfect for the likes of Yin and Restorative – but then I also wear them to the gym.

Why These Are My Choices
I own both of these men’s yoga pants, and I couldn’t be happier.
The lightweight, breathable material of both are definitely more suited to warm/summer climates. If you’re looking for warm yoga pants, yoga sweatpants or winter yoga clothes in general – these are not for you. But if you want a pair of versatile, super comfortable pants that are equally fit for the gym as they are the yoga studio, look no further than these two excellent choices.
